This is not a GLOW rod!
As another reviewer noted, this rod does not glow. The description incorrectly indicates that it is a glow rod. I am returning it.

I had to run wires through my ceiling and using this made it so much easier. I kept adding length to it to make it longer when I needed it to without taking it back out. Great tool.

This was amazing
I love the features that this has. It allowed me to run a 6g wire from my crawl space into the wall, and finally into the circuit panel. It gives you plenty of length and the extra pieces are really useful. Best money I have spent to make my life easier

snaking made simple
perfect for getting wire/cabling from one place to another thru walls, straight runs of conduit etc. a bit of flexibility but if you are running cable thru a spiral or curved space, you will need another tool .this tool is great because of its strength and ease of assembly and storage . price point is also a big plus . one of those tools you dont use all the time but when you do need it 10x better than a straightened out coat hanger ..

Brass fittings break easily!
With not much force (I’m a small 61yr old woman) the male fittings connecting the sections snap off leaving each piece rather useless. Will not buy again.

These are great for pushing/pulling wires
In order to pull the “Power Injection” wires from my facia through the attic, this was PERFECT to push through the hole (from the outside), and easily locate in the attic (just wish I had an assistant)!

On the first use two of them broke and on one the screwing connector came off

Flimsy
Bought two packs of these to go down a straight drop. First pack, a few rods broke in half when they got caught on some framing. Very easy to break these. Second pack, a bunch of rods unscrewed from each other while in the wall fishing. I wouldn’t recommend these.

Great for navigating holes for recess light installation
For recess celing ,passes without bending, can be assmbled at the needed lenght, much easier to push into misalligned, hard to reach holes throgh studs.

Connectors are very weak
Glow feature does not work.Connection points have broken constantly. They snap right at that connection point. Have thrown multiple rods away despite just buying these.

Don’t bother
Broke immediately, like directly out of the tube, assembled, and snapped before even the first wite was run. Save your time and stress, and find a higher quality setup

Garbage
Garbage fitting broke off screwing end on and fitting broke while it was put together inside the wall. I wouldn’t even read it one star don’t buy it.

Rods Do Not Glow in the Dark
I was disappointed with this purchase. Even though the headline of this product refers to these as “Glow Rods”, they do not glow in the dark. I really needed to be able to see these rods in the dark area where I was fishing the electrical wire. But since these rods did not glow, I had to return them for a refund.
